Thief Arrested
 

A teenager has been arrested on Friday 10 May 2024 in connection with multiple shoplifting and robbery offences in Hemel Hempstead.

The 17-year-old boy from Luton was arrested by officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team on suspicion of eight counts of theft and three of robbery.

He remains in police custody at this time.

The arrest was made as part of an investigation into the alleged theft of more than £12,000 worth of alcohol from Sainsbury’s in Shenley Road, between September 2023 and May 2024. It was also reported that staff were threatened on several occasions.

You may be aware that I have been working hard to reduce ASB and thefts and this is an excellent result from the local Neighbourhood Policing Team.
