Dear Resident
We have received reports of multiple males knocking at residents doors in the Four Acres area of Stevenage this afternoon claiming to be from BT / EE. They are claiming that they will be carrying out works on the cabling within residents homes from 11th September until mid October.
They will ask for a bank card to sign you up for an account to allow them to book and schedule an appointment for the works to be completed.
Broadband and Telephone companies such as BT / EE will NEVER ask for your banking details when attending your address or when speaking with you over the phone. Never give banking or personal details to anyone you don’t know or trust. This information is valuable so make sure you protect it.
