Dear Resident Between Sunday 16th February and Monday 17th February 2025 damage was caused to fielded area off the High Street in Walkern.
Tyre tracks and damaged crops were discovered across the field which is believed to have been caused by unknown persons poaching or hare coursing.
If you saw anything suspicious, please contact the police non-emergency number 101, quoting crime number 41/15676/25. Alternatively, you can give information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Tips to prevent hare coursing and poaching: Remain vigilant in rural locations and report any suspicious activity in the area. This may include 4x4 vehicles or vans parked in remote rural location at the roadside of fields. Report groups of people seen with multiple dogs walking across cropped fields. Report locations using What Three Words App (W3W). | ||||
