Dear Resident

In the early hours of Wednesday 26th February, your local Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out a s.8 Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 warrant within Birch Court in Welwyn Garden City. Following this warrant, Mr Lee MORAN of Birch Court, was arrested for being concerned in the supply of cocaine. This was following an extensive investigation and intelligence / evidence capture into the male and his clear criminal exploits, as well as the obvious evidence of drug supply found in the property, including possession of offensive weapons. 

Officers stayed into the early hours of the following morning, securing a Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) charge and remand for Mr MORAN for the following offences: 

Mr MORAN appeared at Hatfield Remand Court on the morning of Thursday 27th February, where he was remanded to prison awaiting trial for all offences. 

Successful investigations like this, would not be possible without the help from local residents who help provide intelligence and reports of criminal behaviour in your neighbourhood to the police.
