Dear Resident
Between 7.00pm on 13/03/2025 and 4.40am on 14/03/2025 a burglary took place at a residence in Waterhouse Street. They gained access by climbing up onto a balcony. The photo shoes the area of the street that the incident took place. Thankfully, nothing was stolen, but we would still like to identify who the person was.
Please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime number 41/24008/25 if you happened to see or hear anything. Alternatively, you can give information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Please be vigilant and do report any suspicious activity or behaviour in the area. Tips to prevent burglary: Check downstairs windows and doors are securely locked before you leave or go to bed. Use a “Fake TV” or timer switches on lamps to give the impression someone is at home. Don’t leave keys, phones or other valuables on windowsills or in any other visible place. Secure UPVC doors by lifting the handle and locking it to engage the security features. Consider using a doorbell camera, interior camera or a monitored burglar alarm. Securely lock rear gates, sheds and garages. Keep tools and ladders locked away, as they could be used to break into your home.
