Stalking Awareness Week

Dear Resident

Stalking is fixated, obsessive, unwanted and repeated behaviour that makes someone feel scared, distressed or threatened.

Stalking Awareness Week started yesterday, Tuesday 22 April, and we are reminding victims, and family and friends of victims, to report these behaviours.

Stalking is a criminal offence. We have specialist officers trained to deal with this extreme behaviour before it escalates.

If you or someone you know is experiencing stalking or harassment, please report it online at www.herts.police/report, The Suzy Lamplugh Trust https://orlo.uk/TheSuzyLamplughTrust_ETR9j or the national stalking helpline on 0808 802 0300.

Further information and support services is available on our website: What to do now if you're being stalked or harassed | Hertfordshire Constabulary

Warm regards
