Dear Resident Apologies I meant to include details of a similar car crime on my previous message Between 6pm on 3rd May and 4.30pm on 4th May, a car was broken into in Laureate Way, Hemel Hempstead. The offender Offender gained entry to the vehicle and stole a blue badge. There was no sign of forced entry. Ensure you lock doors and shut windows/sunroof when leaving your vehicle unattended.Always remove keys from the ignition when you are not with the vehicleWhen parking, remember to set your immobiliser or alarm or use an approved steering lock or gear lever clamp.Never leave valuables in your vehicle – not even in the glove box or boot – and keep all possessions out of sight – even coats, sunglasses and carrier bags.Remove your satnav and holder and wipe away suction marks which could indicate that a satnav is stored in your vehicle.Be aware of your keys.
