moped driver issued warning after driving on Chorleywood Common

A 16-year-old who drove his moped onto Chorleywood Common yesterday has been handed a section 59 warning notice. Under the police reform act 2002 this notice will remain in place for 12months. If the driver uses his vehicle in any anti-social manner during this time frame his vehicle can be seized by Police. A moped is not a toy to impress friends and should be driven responsibly and safely and only on a road.

Anti-social behaviour can be reported to Police using the following link https://www.herts.police.uk/ro/report/asb/asb-v3/report-antisocial-behaviour/
