North Herts NPT proactive patrols

Good Afternoon 

On Sunday 11th May officers from the North Herts Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) conducted high-visibility and plain clothes patrols of drug hotspots in and around Hitchin and Letchworth utilising off-road quad bike patrols, foot patrols and unmarked car patrols. One male was detained as officers suspected he had a bladed article, this fortunately was not the case. 

Earlier that morning the same officers were tasked to arrest a male outstanding for a burglary offence and located him at an address in Letchworth, it was also discovered he had an outstanding arrest warrant for drug offences and was therefore remanded into custody.
