Pride Month Update

Resident

PCSO Cooke and PCSO Appau from the St Albans Neighbourhood Policing Team proudly celebrated Pride Month with a community event held at The Maltings, St Albans.

The event provided an opportunity for officers to engage with members of the public, promoting inclusivity, equality, and support for all LGBTQ+ colleagues and communities. Through meaningful conversations and shared experiences, the team shared their commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for everyone.

PC Jade MOLE, Hate Crime Officer, said:
"Celebrating Pride Month is an important part of our ongoing efforts to build trust and strengthen relationships with all members of our community. We stand together in support of diversity and inclusion, and we’re proud to be part of a city that embraces equality for all."

The event was well-received by attendees and highlighted the importance of visibility, allyship, and community spirit during Pride Month and beyond
