Dear Resident
Between 21:00 on Tuesday 10th June and 09:00 on Wednesday 11th June a theft from a vehicle occurred on The Causeway in Buntingford.
A resident has parked his vehicle at 21:00 on The Causeway in Buntingford and left it locked and secure. He has returned to it the following morning to discover that both front and rear number plates have been removed. Stolen number plates are often used on other vehicles in order to commit crime e.g. theft of fuel from petrol stations or to avoid charges such as ULEZ in London or tolls etc. If you are also a victim of this type of crime please report to Police immediately so that you obtain a crime number to combat any charges etc that you could receive.
