Conflict Management and Women's Safety Presentation

Dear Resident

North Herts officers joined a public Conflict Management and Women's Safety presentation in Letchworth last week.

The presentation, delivered by the Community Security Trust (CST) and held in the North Herts Council Chamber, paid a particular focus to Male Violence Against Woman and Girls.

The session was well received by attendees and ended with a question and answer session with Neighbourhood Policing Team Inspector James Lant and North Herts Council Community Safety lead John Marshall.

Insp Lant said: “The well attended event was a success, and it was pleasing to see a diverse range of communities in attendance.  We hope to be able to run further such events in partnership with the CST in future.

“I'm very grateful to my colleagues Sergeant Chris Adshead, Community Engagement Advisor Verity Soued and PCSO Nigel Haggar for their assistance in organising and attending the event.”

The event was jointly run by North Herts Council and Hertfordshire Constabulary.
