I hope you have enjoyed a good week and the recent wet weather has not spoiled your weekend.

Can I thank you for taking the time to complete our ASB survey. The Neighbourhood team received a total of 86 replies, from which we are collating the results. These will assist us in formulating our future community engagement campaigns. We are listening to your concerns and addressing these through enhancing our levels of visibility and Speed Gun checks in locations across Hoddesdon, Wormley Turnford and Cheshunt; as part of our Road Safety initiative.

Moving forward, until the end of September 2025; the Neighbourhood team will be taking part in the Safer Town Centre campaign. This is national initiative led by the Police Crime Commissioner office. Alongside local authorities, partner agencies and community organisations; we will be carrying out activity to help prevent and address anti-social behaviour, retail crime and street offences within Hoddesdon town centre. The initiative is already proving effective whereby officers caught a prolific shoplifter on Saturday seeking to steal goods from the supermarket in Brewery Road.
