Witness appeal after dog dangerously out of control in WGC park |

Dear Resident, Police are appealing for witnesses after reports of a dog being dangerously out of control in Welwyn Garden City. At around 1pm on Tuesday 8 July, a woman was out walking her dog in Sherrardspark Wood. Her dog was reportedly attacked by another dog, described as a long-haired black Alsatian, that was off its lead. The woman also twisted her back during the incident. The dog’s owner is described as a white woman, aged between 40 and 50, of slim build and approximately 5ft 3ins tall. She was said to have blonde shoulder-length hair in a ponytail and was wearing glasses. Anyone with information is asked to email PC Callum Walford via Callum.Walford@herts.police.uk.
