• One person has been charged and remanded for theft.

• One person has been charged with shoplifting.

• One person located and sent to court for breaching their court order (electronic tag).

• Four people have been bailed while enquiries continue into large-scale fuel thefts.

• Three people have been bailed in connection with an ongoing investigation into bulk shoplifting offences.

• Three wanted files were closed, with two people being remanded into custody.

Following the operation, the Neighbourhood Policing Team set up a community engagement stall in the area the next day, to allow people to meet with officers and discuss any issues or concerns.

Dacorum Chief Inspector Paul Stanbridge said: “I hope this operation reassures members of the public that we do take their concerns seriously and will respond accordingly. The Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is committed to working with the community and local partners to ensure that Hemel Hempstead is a safe place for all.”
