Local Priorities Road Safety Update |
||
I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road Safety, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Some of you eagle-eyed residents may have already noticed, however I wanted to share the Good News that the London Colney Roundabout lines have been re-painted thanks to public feedback. We recognise that Road Safety is a Community Concern frequently raised by residents and, as the local officer for London Colney, I am aware of Road Safety concerns relating to the number of Road Traffic Collisions occurring on the London Colney Roundabout and stretch of A414 between this roundabout and the Park Street Roundabout. Likewise, I am aware of community concerns relating to vehicle nuisance and speeding which is something we are constantly reviewing to see what work can be done to reduce the impact on our communities. If you ever experience this issue or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.herts.police.uk, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, you can stay 100 per cent anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
