Police appeal for information following incident in St Albans

Police are investigating after an incident has occurred in St Albans.

It is reported that offensive graffiti was sprayed onto a roundabout on Hatfield Road at the junction with Beechwood Avenue and Beaumont Avenue, between the times of 3.20am and 3.30am on Friday 1 August.

Neighbourhood Policing Team Sergeant for St Albans Simon Totten said: “I am appealing to members of the public who may have either seen the incident take place, or have information regarding it, to contact me.

“I also want to hear from people who thinks they might have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area.

“I understand this incident may concern local residents and our communities, but I want to reassure you that we are doing all we can to find whoever is responsible.
