Theft of a motor vehicle - BERKS HILL CHORLWYWOOD - 41/73437/25

Dear Resident

Between 04/08/2025 21:00 to 05/08/2025 08:30 a theft of a vehicle occurred in BERKS HILL CHORLWYWOOD.

The victims vehicle a Grey PORSCHE MACAN was parked on the victims driveway between 04/08/2025 21:00 to 05/08/2025 08:30. The victim still has both sets of keys.

Tips to prevent vehicle crime:

Ensure you lock doors and shut windows/sunroof when leaving your vehicle unattended.

Always remove keys from the ignition when you are not with the vehicle

When parking, remember to set your immobiliser or alarm or use an approved steering lock or gear lever clamp.

Never leave valuables in your vehicle – not even in the glove box or boot – and keep all possessions out of sight – even coats, sunglasses and carrier bags.

Be aware of your keys. Don’t leave them visible on a windowsill or near to your front door, where they could be “hooked” through the letterbox or a keyless signal can be received by relay devices.

If you have a keyless entry car use a signal blocking bag and consider using additional trackers, steering wheel locks or ghost immobilisers.

Store car ownership documents at home, not in your car.
