Stevenage Police Cadets |

Dear Resident
The #Stevenage Police Cadets have been busy over the holiday period, helping keep residents and visitors to the town safe. Last Wednesday they joined local neighbourhood officers to carry out knife sweeps in Shephalbury Park. This involved searching bushes and undergrowth for hidden weapons. They also conducted policing priority surveys, visiting addresses in the town to find out what issues are affecting local communities. The Neighbourhood Policing Teams are about to set their next set of policing priorities at the end of the month and are asking for feedback on which issues matter most to people living in the town. Commenting on their contribution, Neighbourhood Inspector Will Rogers-Overy said: “We are always very grateful to our police cadets for all of the work they do. Being part of the cadets is a great way to make new friends, learn new skills and get to know your community. “If you know a young person who is interested in joining or would like to find out more information, please visit: Police cadets | Hertfordshire Constabulary (https://orlo.uk/CimIE). “We also want to hear from people about what matters most to them and what issues they would like their local officers to focus on. You can use the Herts Connected platform to let us know what you think we should be prioritising in your area and give your opinions via the following link https://orlo.uk/iY7pZ . ![]()
