Dear Resident
A man has been charged in connection with a burglary at a church in #HemelHempstead. It was reported that a window had been smashed at the Alexandra Road Congregational Church, sometime overnight between 4 and 5 October, and that a collection box containing cash had been stolen from within. Following an investigation by the Dacorum Criminal Investigation Department (CID) a man was arrested on Friday (7 November). Richard Normoyle, aged 55, from #Luton, appeared before St Albans Magistrates’ Court on Monday (10 November) charged with burglary (non-dwelling). He was released by the courts on conditional bail ahead of a trial at a later date.
