Police are appealing for witnesses and information after an incident of criminal damage in Baldock. At some time between Monday 6 October and Thursday 27 November, a gravestone was damaged inside Baldock Cemetery on Norton Road. PC Jake Clancy who is investigating said: “I am appealing to anyone who might remember seeing the gravestone get damaged or suspicious activity. “I appreciate that the timeline is quite large, but this incident has caused understandable distress. We are treating this incident as targeted, and we do not believe there is cause for anybody else with loved ones at the cemetery to be concerned.” PC Clancy can be contacted by email via jake.clancy@herts.police.uk.
