Re-appeal after man dies following collision in Gaddesden |

Police are refreshing an appeal for witnesses, information and dash cam footage after a man died following a serious road traffic collision near Hemel Hempstead on Friday 5 December. The incident occurred in Gaddesden Row, Great Gaddesden, at around 9.30am. A cyclist was travelling from Jockey End towards Hemel Hempstead when, for reasons unknown at this time, they were involved in a collision with a white Kia Sorento. The cyclist, who sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital, has now sadly died. Detective Sergeant Ben Heath, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the man’s loved ones at this difficult time, and investigations are continuing to establish the circumstances around the collision. “As part of our enquiries, we are appealing for anyone with information to please come forward. Did you witness the collision or see the pedal cycle or the vehicle in the area around the time? “We’re particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have captured dash cam footage.
