Increased Patrols In Your Area |
Dear resident
Recently, while officers were on foot patrol, a strong smell of cannabis was detected, believed to be coming from a property in the area. I would like to appeal to any users of cannabis that the use and cultivation of cannabis are illegal under UK law, and its use can have a significant impact on the local community, including concerns about health, safety and anti-social behaviour. As a Neighbourhood Policing Team officer, it is my duty to remind you that Possession of Cannabis, a Class B drug, is a criminal offence which can result in a criminal record. Should you require help in stopping using cannabis please visit www.talktofrank.com/drug/cannabis. We are continuing to monitor this with increased patrols and visible presence to support the community. If you have noticed anything that may assist, such as times, patterns, or any related activity, please let us know. Even small pieces of information can be valuable. You can reply directly to this message or provide information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111or www.crimestoppers-uk.org. You can also report information via 101 or the force’s website Home | Hertfordshire Constabulary. In an emergency, always call 999
Kind Regards
