Dear Resident
Officers are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a serious collision in Stevenage. The incident happened around 9.30am on Monday 4 May in the car park of B&M Bargains on London Road. The incident involved a pedestrian, a woman aged in her 80s, who became trapped between her own vehicle, a beige Citroen C3, and a white Citroen DS3. The woman was taken to hospital and remains in a serious condition. Sergeant Nicholas Kane from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have been either walking or driving in the car park at the time and saw the incident to please get in touch. “If you have a dash cam fitted, please review your footage as you may have captured something that could assist us with our enquiries.” You can contact Sgt Kane via email to Nicholas.Kane@herts.police.uk. If you have dash cam footage in relation to the collision, please upload this via DAMS. You can report information online, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting Op Salford. Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form | ||
