Nuisance bikes and/or scooters in your area

The results of our latest priority setting have highlighted nuisance bikes/vehicles a one of the primary concerns. This includes e-bikes, scooters, scramblers/off-road bikes and Sur-ron bikes.

If you have any information you would like to share with your local officers, please reply to this email.  

Please include details about what you've seen, what time and where it has been happening and numberplates where/if possible. Ideally, for nuisance e-bikes and scramblers we are looking for addresses they are visiting or coming from and/or regular times/patterns.

Tackling antisocial behaviour can be a complex issue, and one which requires input and action from more than just the police.

February 2025 saw the publication of the Ministry of Justice Crime and Policing Bill: Antisocial behaviour (ASB) factsheet. This outlined a number of new measures including making powers to seize vehicles under section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002 easier to use, allowing the police to react robustly and immediately to the anti-social use of motor vehicles.

Local officers are regularly patrolling the streets in your area - on foot, in marked Police cars and in unmarked cars.
