Abbots NPT Takes Action on Anti-Social Behaviour

Good Evening Resident

Abbots Neighbourhood Policing Team has recently taken positive action against anti-social behaviour in the local area, resulting in the seizure of two e-scooters and one scooter linked to incidents causing concern within the community.

Over the past two weeks, officers have seized two e-scooters being used by youths to engage in anti-social behaviour. Officers also seized a scooter associated with ongoing issues around Cunningham Way, using powers available under Section 60.

These successful outcomes were made possible thanks to information and footage provided by local residents. Community reports, CCTV and video footage enabled police to identify the vehicles involved and take appropriate enforcement action.

Both seized e-scooters will now be destroyed, preventing their further use and helping to improve the quality of life for local residents.
