Reduce reports of anti-social behaviour in the town centre.

The Hoddesdon Neighbourhood Policing Team have once more worked alongside partner agencies and local businesses during June 2025 to target those intent in committing anti-social behaviour or criminality in the area ensuring that members of public can continue to enjoy the various events happening in the town centre over the summer months.
There are many organised engagement events taking place in Hoddesdon, where you can meet members of your Neighbourhood Policing Team such as Coffee with a Cop, check out details of the next organised event on Herts Connected.
Members of the Hoddesdon Neighbourhood Policing Team can be regularly seen patrolling the town centre, neighbour roads and parks.

Tackle anti-social car meets.

The Broxbourne Neighbourhood Policing Team have been working to stop and disrupt any reported organised car meets in the Borough and using powers available to them, such as dispersal orders under Section 35 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
On Saturday 14 June 2025 a large car meet took place in Hoddesdon which officers were able to disrupt with the use of dispersal powers under Section 35 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. In addition a large number of letters have since been issued to the registered owners of the vehicles in attendance warning them that their attendance at this type of event is not acceptable.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind anyone who may be tempted to take part in an organised car meet that a Public Space Protection Order, covering the whole of the Borough of Broxbourne, came into force in July 2023, for a period of three years, prohibiting anyone being the driver of any mechanically propelled vehicle to act in a manner deemed by an authorised person to be anti-social and is or is likely to be causing nuisance, alarm, harassment or distress to any other person and failure to comply with this order is a criminal offence.
