Anti-social behaviour in Hemel Hempstead town centre. Issued 01 September 2025	Residents will see their dedicated team of PCs and PCSOs working alongside partners to tackle the issue, through an increased police presence, engagement events and targeted enforcement. Regular patrols have been carried out. Additional CCTV cameras have been installed thanks to Op Hotspot funding. A police crime prevention workshop was held in the Marlowe’s shopping centre. The aim was to promote the support that is available to town centre businesses, retailers and the public under the Safer Town Centre initiative. Officers from joined colleagues from the Child Criminal Exploitation Team to host an advice session for young people during Freshers' Week at West Herts College.
