Issued 01 May 2026	• Patrols are continuing. • High-visibility reassurance patrols have been conducted in areas affected by retail crime. • Crime prevention advice has been given to retail staff. • Intelligence has been gathered around offenders. • Work is being done to better understand the contributing factors behind repeat offending. This includes exploring opportunities for support and diversionary projects, aimed at reducing reoffending and addressing underlying causes. • Police are working alongside Youth Offending Team managers in locations experiencing higher levels of ASB.
