Residents previously asked us to focus on the following issues:

Address drug and alcohol use in and around Vicarage Road/Harwoods Recreation Ground.
• Officers have been conducting both high visibility and plain clothed operations in the area.
• PCSOs have been engaging with local businesses to provide reassurance.
• Addresses involved in ASB have been identified, ASB surveys have been conducted and intel has been gathered, resulting in Community Protection Warnings (CPW) being issued to occupiers.
• A closure order has been granted for a property linked to crime and disorder, preventing anyone from entering for three months.

Reduce incidents of mobile phone theft in Cassiobury Park.
• The team have conducted high visibility and plain clothed, intel-led operations to target offenders, resulting in a sharp decrease in reports of theft in Cassiobury Park.
• PCSOs have conducted engagement events in the area, including bike marking events, crime prevention stalls and a presence at the Park Run.

Take action against drug dealing/use and associated anti-social behaviour in Whippendell Road.
• Officers & PCSOs are continuing to conduct regular high visibility patrols and engagement with residents and local businesses.
• There has been a reduction in reports over the priority period.
