Local Priority Issues

Priority Action taken

Drug dealing in the Alban Way area of Hatfield.

Issued 08 May 2025

We have executed two warrants at addresses along the Alban Way corridor, arresting one male, safeguarding vulnerable occupants being cuckooed, and returning control of two properties to Welwyn Hatfield Borough council, effectively shutting down drug activity at that location.

Actioned 02 July 2025

Tacking drug dealing in Parkhouse Court.

Issued 08 May 2025

We are carrying out regular plain clothes and uniformed patrols in both Alban Way and Parkhouse Court – a mix of cycle and foot patrols. In addition to tackling drug dealing, our presence in the area has resulted in several wanted people being arrested over the last few weeks.

We have identified several homeless individuals using the bin stores, which are likely linked to the public's perception of drug dealing in the area. Every time we identify someone needing housing support, we work with Resolve and the council to provide accommodation as soon as possible. Two individuals who had been previously committing anti-social behaviour have now been relocated.

Actioned 02 July 2025
