Dear Resident
Below are the priorities that your local Neighbourhood Policing team will be focusing on for the next three months. Your local Neighbourhood policing team review reported crime and data from the priority Survey's residents complete on Herts connected every three months to decide what our priorities should be and how best to use our resources to help tackle them. We will keep regularly updated with are progress through this period.
Town Centre - ASB including retail crime - ASB continues to be identified as an issue within the Town centre, OP HOTSPOT will be continuing and daily targeted patrols by local officers will continue. Retail crime has been identified as being a topic to focus on. We will be speaking with local businesses to identify their needs and target our crime prevention advice to them. We will also look at our top 5 most vulnerable stores to provide reassurance.
Rural - Watling Ward Speeding - Since reviewing your local priority survey results, speeding has been identified as a problem in the local villages. Our pledge for this quarter is to be visible on the local roads with speed enforcement and working alongside partners to educate and enforce.
West - Boxmoor Chaulden Gadebridge Warners End ASB and Speeding - Your local priority survey results have shown us that ASB and drug use continues to be an issue around the local shops, including Stoneycroft, Chaulden, Rossgate and Boxmoor. Local officers will continue targeted patrols in those areas. Speeding has also been identified as an issue. We will be working with partners to educate road users and enforce any traffic offences.
If you feel there are other priorities that we should be focused on please complete the short survey below and this will be considered when we set our priorities for the next quarter in August.
